Historic Asbury Park Convention Hall
Although it went through a period of hard times from the 1970s–2000s, Asbury Park was once a glamorous destination for wealthy out-of-towners, which is visible in many of its remaining structures that are still in use today, most notably, The Asbury Park Convention Hall. Standing tall and proud on the boardwalk, at the shores of the Atlantic, it is home to the Paramount Theater, various shops, popular restaurants, and other major events throughout the year. Today, Asbury’s Convention Hall is a reminder of days gone by as well as the town’s current lively state, promising future and booming local economy of artists. Convention Hall now hosts regular pop-up programming and local seasonal markets, and is a favorite to explore in summer season.
